Madison World Music Festival 2001

Madison World Music Festival festival will be held September 14-17, 2011 at the Memorial Union and the Willy Street Fair in Madison, Wisconsin (USA). All events are free and open to the public.

As in past years, the festival brings extraordinary artists from around the world, offering many opportunities to dance and party as well as to enjoy traditional and sacred music. The signature stilt walking puppets of Dragon Knights will return too—and, for the first time ever, offer an all-ages workshop on Saturday, 9/16.

On Saturday, 9/17, Greyhound offers free hourly shuttle service to the festival. Shuttle departs from Memorial Union to Willy St: 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm. Shuttle returns to Memorial Union: 3:30 pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm
