WOMEX 2008 organizers announced today that the Trade Fair stands (booths) are sold out. Every year WOMEX increases the number of stands at the Trade Fair and every year they sell out. A new record has been set this year with 320 stands.
WOMEX is the largest international conference for world music. WOMEX 2008 will be taking place in Sevilla, Andalusia (Spain) from Wednesday, 29 October – Sunday, 2 November. The Worldwide Music Expo, WOMEX, is the biggest world music trade fair and showcase. It is also a great networking opportunity. WOMEX is exclusively dedicated to world music, roots, folk, ethnic, traditional and local music of all kinds.
