Four South American Singers and composers living and creating in New York City will perform November 14 & 15, 8 – 11 pm at the “Latin American Cultural Week”. Among the arts festivals on Latin American culture taking place in New York City, the “Latin American Cultural Week” has evolved into one of New York’s leading Latin American cultural festivals, partnering with many of the city’s most prestigious cultural institutions, and presenting the highest quality art and artists to the broadest cross-section of the community.
The “Latin American Cultural Week” 2008 in its third edition presents two very unique concerts with the very best of South American music made by women on an event called “South American Women Series: Vocalists Creating in New York” featuring Colombian singer/songwriter Andrea Tierra, Argentinean singer/composer Sofía Rei Koutsovitis, Argentinean singer Sofía Tosello and Uruguayan singer/composer Sabrina Lastman
The two concerts will take place at “DROM” located on 85 Avenue A (bet. 5th . & 6th . St.), New York.
