The cover for Followin’ You by East Nash Grass features a pastoral landscape with rolling hills, patchwork fields, and two tall, tree-like forms flanking a winding path. In the foreground, a simple white silhouette of a couple walks hand in hand. The title sits above in bold red and teal text, framed by retro border lines.

Grass Roots, Bold Routes: East Nash Grass Follows Instincts with New Single

Fresh off their 2024 IBMA New Artist of the Year win, East Nash Grass has released “Followin’ You,” the first single from their forthcoming album All God’s Children, due later this year on Mountain Fever Records.

Co-written by James Kee and Christian Penn Ward, the track explores perseverance and emotional clarity in uncertain times.

Lead vocals are delivered by fiddle player Maddie Denton, supported by Harry Clark on mandolin; Jeff Partin on bass, harmony vocals; James Kee on guitar, harmony vocals; Cory Walker on banjo; and Gaven Largent on resophonic guitar.

Formed during a seven-year weekly residency at a Nashville venue, East Nash Grass has developed into a cohesive ensemble known for tight arrangements and creative risk-taking. Though steeped in bluegrass tradition, their sound resists easy categorization.
