The second evening concert of the Milap season will feature the internationally acclaimed Indian classical musician Rajhesh Vaidhya. A virtuoso of the veena, a traditional South Indian stringed instrument, Vaidhya is known for his innovative approach, incorporating electric and amplified strings to create a dynamic sound.
Renowned for his exceptional speed and technical precision, Vaidhya has garnered widespread recognition and collaborated with notable musicians, including pop star Elton John. Accompanying him will be two prominent Indian percussionists: Sai Giridhar on mridangam and Kousic Sen on tabla, both celebrated for their ability to enhance any musical performance.
