Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta: The Viral Duo Revitalizing Irish Sean-Nós

Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta are renowned for their mastery of sean-nós, the traditional unaccompanied Irish singing style, as well as their distinctive vocal arrangements of Irish and English songs.

Based in An Áird Mhóir in Connemara’s Gaeltacht region, County Galway, the siblings come from a family of musicians. Their performances are marked by beautifully crafted harmonies, a vocal synergy uniquely shared between close relatives.

Both are accomplished multi-instrumentalists, skilled Irish dancers, and All-Ireland champion artists. Their work remains deeply rooted in the Irish language and cultural heritage.

The duo will perform at the influential world music showcase BABEL MUSIC XP in Marseille on March 21, 2025.
