The news from Los Angeles, California, indicate devastating losses of homes, music studios and musicians’ equipment. More than 2,000 homes have been destroyed by two major wildfires, over 1,000 in the Palisades Fire and an additional 1,000 in the Eaton Fire, according to local and regional officials. These fires have displaced numerous residents, including musicians and independent contractors, who lost not only their homes but also recording studios and essential equipment.
