Turkish label Kalan Music has rolled out a music video that integrates the rich heritage of Turkish folk music with modern digital innovations. In their latest project, the classic folk song “Ela Gözlerini Sevdiği Dilber” has been reimagined in an instrumental interpretation by renowned musicians Muhlis Berberoğlu (divan baglama, cura), Burakhan Nur (clarinet), and Erdem Erkul, a technology entrepreneur and skilled kopuz and cura performer.
This collaboration breathes new life into Anatolian musical traditions while mixing art, music, and technology. Central to the project is a music video created using artificial intelligence, which visualizes the timeless theme of Anatolia’s ancient love stories.
By combining traditional melodies with AI-generated visuals, the project highlights the potential of technology as a creative partner, enhancing rhythm and storytelling.
