Murcian flamenco cantaora Carmen Doorá, now based in Utrera, has released her latest single, “Animal,” a preview of her upcoming album created in collaboration with producer Ángel Dorao.
Animal showcases a contemporary sound rooted in flamenco and copla, enriched by experimentation that explores modern textures. Doorá’s innovative approach follows her 2022 Grammy Latino nomination for Best Flamenco Album with Orgánica, a project that also earned her a spot in Flamenco Ñ, an international showcase for flamenco programmers organized by SGAE.
