Sister Sadie Delivers Hope with “All Will Be Well”

Sister Sadie’s latest single, “All Will Be Well,” highlights the award-winning group’s ability to combine heartfelt lyrics with masterful musicianship. The song, brought to the band by guitarist and vocalist Dani Flowers, was originally written by Gabe Dixon and Dan Wilson. Deanie Richardson, the group’s fiddler and current IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year, recalls being captivated by Jimmy Stewart’s version and immediately envisioning Flowers singing the lead.

Flowers’ commanding vocal performance anchors the track, which marks Sister Sadie’s first release since their well-received album No Fear in January. With lyrics that reflect resilience and optimism, “All Will Be Well” aligns with the band’s identity as a powerful ensemble of independent women.

Sister Sadie’s lineup includes founding members Richardson and Gena Britt (banjo, vocals), alongside Flowers, vocalist Jaelee Roberts (2024 IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year), and newest member Maddie Dalton (bass, vocals). The group has garnered significant recognition, including multiple IBMA awards and nominations, solidifying their reputation as leading voices in modern bluegrass.

“All Will Be Well” picks up thematically from No Fear, featuring Britt’s banjo introduction and Richardson’s melodic fiddle, with support from guest musicians Mary Meyer on mandolin, Seth Taylor on guitar, and Dave Racine on drums.

Lyrically, the song’s message is clear: despite life’s uncertainties, there’s hope in persistence and faith in the future.
