The full schedule for the 2024 IBMA Bluegrass Live, powered by PNC, has been officially released.
This year’s event will highlight the 100th anniversary of the Union Grove Old Time Fiddlers Convention with a special contest stage on September 27-28. The competitions aim to celebrate bluegrass and old-time music in an inclusive and welcoming environment, open to all participants.
Competitions will be held in the following categories:
Each contestant will perform two instrumental tunes, one fast and one slow, within a five-minute limit. Accompaniment by one additional instrument is allowed, with an emphasis on selections from traditional bluegrass and old-time music.
