Future Yard and Milap are partnering for the first time to present a live performance by renowned British-Asian bass player Shez Raja. Recognized as one of the world’s top bass players by Bass Player magazine, Raja is celebrated for his dynamic live shows and distinctive Indo-jazz-funk style. His collaborations include esteemed musicians like Mike Stern, Randy Brecker, Trilok Gurtu, and Wayne Krantz.
For this performance, Shez Raja will be joined by a notable lineup featuring saxophonist Vasilis Xenopoulos, keyboardist Chris Jerome (known for his work with Courtney Pine), and rising drumming talent Jamie ‘Drumcat’ Murray. Attendees can anticipate an evening of electrifying music, mixing euphoric jazz, powerful funk, melodious ragas, and captivating rhythms.
