Malian kora virtuoso Toumani Diabaté passed away on 19 July 2024 of kidney disease. He was 58.
Diabaté was one of the finest kora players of his generation. He is survived by his wives, Fanta Sacko and Sira Diallo, and his sons Balla and Sidiki.
