Archaic Humans by Nation Beat seamlessly brings together irresistible traditional Brazilian rhythms with captivating New Orleans roots music, funk, and jazz. The vision behind this album is to tap into the foundational rhythms that influenced American jazz and Brazilian maracatú. The album features awesome bebop-inspired Brazilian drumming, high energy New Orleans brass, and intense jazz improvisation.

New collaborators include the engaging South African vocalist Melanie Scholtz. For sure, she adds fresh, soulful, uplifting elements to the band’s sound. There is also prerequisite rapping by Christylez Bacon on two songs.
