Luís Peixoto‘s latest single, “Please Take Care,” follows his successful album Geodesia (2021). Returning to the studio to craft original compositions, Portuguese artist Peixoto introduces his first release of the year.
The single maintains Peixoto’s signature acoustic folk style while delving into intimate and introspective themes. Exclusively instrumental, “Please Take Care” reflects a pursuit of both musical and personal identity. Inspired by the challenge of articulating deep emotions verbally, the song encapsulates profound meaning within seemingly simple phrases.
Featuring Peixoto on bouzouki and mandolin, accompanied by Spanish musician Xosé Liz on guitar and low whistle, the track was recorded in Viladecans (Spain) and Figueira da Foz (Portugal). Co-produced by Liz and mastered at Studio Trad (Belgium), the single offers a harmonious blend of talent and craftsmanship.
