Flamenco singer Israel Fernández, renowned for his powerful vocals and unique style, will perform at Kaufman Music Center in New York City on Thursday, March 14. The artist, from Toledo, Spain, was born into a gitano (Spanish Gypsy or Roma) family. He made his recording debut in 2008 at just 18 years old. He has since released five albums, including Amor and Pura Sangre, both nominated for Best Flamenco Album at the Latin GRAMMYs in 2021 and 2023.
Collaborating with Spanish musician/producer El Guincho and guitarist Diego del Morao, Fernández has produced notable singles like “La Inocencia” and “En La Feria De La Bamera.”
