The official music video for Lukas Nelson’s song, “The View,” is now accessible. Directed and edited by Orion Owens, the video presents scenes from the entirety of Maui, the island where Nelson spent his formative years.
In a continued effort to support his hometown, Nelson has put together Lōkahi: A Celebration of Maui, a distinctive event aimed at honoring the people and community of Maui in the aftermath of this year’s wildfires. Set to unfold at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on December 17, the event will feature performances by Nelson himself, along with Jack Johnson, Nathaniel Rateliff, Paula Fuga, Lily Meola, and other notable artists.
“The View” is a track from Nelson’s latest album, Sticks and Stones. Since his initial foray into the music scene over a decade ago, Nelson, based in both Texas and Hawaii, has played numerous sold-out shows and festivals while delivering a total of eight albums to date.
