This musical endeavor is expertly crafted with production by British musician Justin Adams. In this distinctive fusion of tradition and innovation, Lina masterfully allows Camões’ words to resound with their full emotional depth.
‘Desamor’ serves as the inaugural track from her upcoming album, Fado Camões, scheduled for release on January 19th under Galileo Music. Furthermore, a concert tour will kick off in Lisbon on January 30th.
‘Desamor’ combines elements of familiarity and novelty. Elements that captivated audiences in her previous records, such as the stripped-down elegance, remain, but now they coexist with a spaciousness and a careful interplay between voice, piano, guitar, and moments of near silence. This combination creates new soundscapes marked by pain, fairness, and dignity.
