EXIB Música 2023 poster

International Showcase EXIB Música in Portugal is around the corner

Between October 18th and 21st, 2023, an important music event will be taking place in the Portuguese city of Setúbal.  This event will become a point of encounter and connection among musicians from Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Ecuador, Portugal, and Spain.

We are talking about EXIB Música which stands for Expo Iberoamericana de Música.  This is the ninth version of this festival and showcase.  The city of Setúbal is located on the northern bank of the Sado River estuary, approximately 48 kilometers (29.83 miles) south of Portugal’s capital, Lisbon. It is also the seat of the Setúbal District and formerly in the historic Estremadura Province.

EXIB Música has been created to make possible the diffusion and mobility of Ibero-American music in Europe. Every year, professionals from the music industry live this experience in a sunny city on the Iberian coast to share the richness of root sounds and celebrate human connections with potential collaborators and friends. Both, people from the city and visitors are part of this encounter.

EXIB Music engages in dialogue, listen to experts, and exchange experiences about the value that culture brings to cities and towns.
