Argentine singer, composer, and lyricist Cecilia Gauna has launched a new video titled “Con mi padre” (with my father). Cecilia says about this new release: “I share with great emotion this video in which I sing a song that I composed for my father from Entre Ríos accompanied by great musicians from the city of Buenos Aires.”
“The rhythm of the song is chamamé, a genre of Argentine folk music and dance typical of the Mesopotamian area, which mixes indigenous elements with European courtly dances and is a Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The video was recorded in June 2023 by Estudio Sombracine. It has the support of the Patronage of the City of Buenos Aires as part of the Cantantes y Autoras (singers and songwriters) Project presented by Argentine drummer and producer Leandro Savelón.
On this video, Cecilia Gauna is accompanied by great musicians and producers from the Argentine music scene.
