Spanish act Tanxugueiras continues to achieve resounding success this year, garnering two MIN Independent Music Awards for their album “Diluvio.” The trio from the region of Galicia won the ‘Best Roots Music Album’ and ‘Best Album in Galician.’
The MIN Awards aim to introduce emerging Spanish artists to new audiences, bridging the gap between the public and the music production process, while solidifying recognition for creative endeavors. Organized since 2009 by the Independent Phonographic Union (UFI), these awards celebrate the creation, diversity, and artistic quality of independent productions released in Spain. Each year, they promote the music published by Spanish music industry small and medium-sized enterprises, which account for 80% of new record releases, both nationally and internationally.
