Jackson Hollow Unveils New Album Roses

Jackson Hollow, a multi-award-winning band, showcases their exceptional vocals and instrumental skills in their exciting debut album, “Roses,” presented by Mountain Fever Records. The album is sure to resonate with a broad audience, particularly fans of bluegrass, acoustic country, and other forms of roots music.

Roses features the talents of Tianna Lefebvre on lead vocals; Mike Sanyshyn on harmony vocals, fiddle, and mandolin; Charlie Frie on bass and vocals; and Eric Reed on guitar and banjo, as well as guest musicians John Reischman on mandolin for “I’m All the Way Gone,” Jeff Scroggins on banjo for several tracks, and Michael Kilby on resophonic guitar.

Jackson Hollow’s previous singles from Roses, such as “Shallow Rivers,” have already garnered critical acclaim. “Shallow Rivers” was nominated for the 2022 Josie Award Single of the Year Award and featured on the Bluegrass Today Top 20 chart various times. Other successful singles include “Travelin’ Heart” and “Look Who’s Talking Now.” Their latest release, “I’m All the Way Gone,” debuted on Valentine’s Day.

The album explores themes of love and heartbreak, highlighted in tracks such as the title track, “Roses,” which evokes classic country music. Other notable tracks include “For the Life of Me,” “Can’t Stop Now,” “Put Yourself in My Place,” “Heartache in the Works,” and “Pour It To Me Straight.”

Jackson Hollow’s exceptional music production and live performances have earned them well-deserved recognition throughout their career, including four BC Country Music Association Traditional Country Awards, a feature on the cover of Bluegrass Canada Magazine, and a spot on Canadian Beats Media’s Top Five Bands in British Columbia. Mike Sanyshyn, a member of the band, won the 2020 BCCMA Gold Achievement Award for Fiddle and Mandolin and has received numerous awards from the Canadian Country Music Association.
