Molly Tuttle Awarded Best Bluegrass Album at 65th Grammy Awards

At the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, Molly Tuttle was honored with the award for Best Bluegrass Album for her highly praised release “Crooked Tree.” The record, co-produced by Tuttle and guitarist Jerry Douglas, showcases Tuttle’s love for bluegrass. It includes collaborations with notable musicians such as Sierra Hull, Old Crow Medicine Show, Margo Price, Billy Strings, Dan Tyminski and Gillian Welch.

“Crooked Tree” was released by Nonesuch Records in spring 2022. In fall 2022, Tuttle released a digital deluxe version of the album. This edition featured reinterpretations of “Dire Wolf” by the Grateful Dead and the traditional folk song “Cold Rain and Snow,” as well as live versions of “Dooley’s Farm” (feat. Jerry Douglas) and “Castilleja.”

Tuttle and Golden Highway have announced their tour plans for this fall, including headlining performances at The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park, The Kessler Theater in Dallas, and The Heights Theater in Houston. Tuttle will also be joining Old Crow Medicine for several dates later in the month. The band will be appearing at major festivals such as the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Railbird Music Festival, and Bonnaroo. A complete itinerary can be found below.
