Balsam Range, a renowned bluegrass music act, has received two more awards. The band from Western North Carolina was honored with the title of Gospel Group of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America. For Balsam Range, their main priorities are delivering meaningful songs, compelling performances and showcasing a unique sound, all of which are highlighted by these awards.
“We were honored to be considered for these awards, and it’s just a thrill to be named Vocal Group and Gospel Group this year!” says bassist and vocalist Tim Surrett. “We want to thank SPBGMA and of course everyone who voted! Thank you so much for your support!“
