Círculo Flamenco de Madrid (CFM) has announced its January 2022 programming, including concerts, a colloquium, and panel discussion. The long-awaited Arcángel concert, originally scheduled for January 13 has been postponed due to artist-related health reasons. The new date is February 15, 2022.
El jaleo flamenco’ – Tuesday, January 18
The colloquium ‘El jaleo flamenco’, featuring Guadiana, El Chícharo and José Manuel Gamboa. Location: Café Morente in the Casa Patas Foundation, on Calle de los Cañizares 10 at 8:00 p.m.
Editorial Demófilo Discussion – Saturday, January 22
A meeting dedicated to publishing house Editorial Demófilo, which published many essential titles of the flamenco bibliography. The panel includes Andrés Raya Saro, José Luis Ortiz Nuevo and Eugenio Cobo plus Miguel Ángel Rodríguez as facilitator. Location: Corral de la Morería, on Calle Morería 17, at 1:00 p.m.
José del Tomate – Thursday, January 27
A concert focused on the guitar with rising star José del Tomate, accompanied by Cristóbal Santiago and Jony Cortés. Venue: Madrid Flamenco Theater (Alfil Theater) on Calle del Pez 10 at 10:30 p.m.

Update: Due to health-related issues, the colloquium and discussion are postponed indefinitely. The José del Tomate concert is still on schedule.
