Dutch ensemble Rembrandt Trio has released a new album titled “A Wind Invisible Sweeps Us Through The World” (Just Listen Records, 2021).
After playing together for more than fifteen years, traveling the world to perform across continents and absorbing many different musical cultures along the way, the Rembrandt Trio recorded their seventh album together during the pandemic in early 2021. In two full days, in a former church filled with various antique organs, the musicians chose compositions that had a universal quality about them.
The pieces on A Wind Invisible Sweeps Us Through The World are based on compositions and themes from different times and cultures; a Bach motif, a Chinese folk song, Armenian folklore, etc.
