A Quatro Vozes at Malungo Festival

The Minas Gerais group A Quatro Vozes, now in a trio, formed by the sisters Dora, Jurema and Jussara Otaviano, present the musical diversity of Brazil. It is one of the great vocal groups dedicated to Brazilian Popular Music (MPB).

The trio stands out for its elaborate vocal arrangements and choice of repertoire, based on research on the roots of Brazilian popular music, with a main focus on Brazilianness and the black sound and music from the interior of Minas Gerais.

In their Brasilidades show, they present Brazilian music and rhythms that refer to the influences of African and black culture in Brazil.
