Astola y Ratón Win Best Flamenco Album Award at the 2021 MIN Awards

The album Rock de Palo (El Volcán Música, 2020) from Spanish duo Astola y Ratón is the winner of the 2021 MIN Awards, Spain’s top independent music awards.

Rock de Palo was produced by the artists themselves. Although the two musicians have performed in well known Andalusian rock bands, the album Rock de Palo goes back to Flamenco roots, featuring Flamenco guitars, bass, cajon and handclapping. Guests include Chukky, Miguel Campello and Antónimo.

Alejandro Astola Soto (Seville, 1990) was the co-founder of Fondo Flamenco; Diego Pozo Torregrosa “El Ratón” (Jerez, 1975), was co-founder Los Delinqüentes. Both artists came together to form Astola y Ratón.
