Ugandan singer-songwriter, dancer, and politician Rachel Magoola was elected to Uganda’s Parliament as the women’s representative in Bugweri District.
“My Bugweri People, thank you for coming out in big numbers and voting. We won this. Today God has added me another year to live and serve my people of Bugweri. Thank you all, let’s work together and serve as one. For God and my country,” said Rachael Magoola.
Magoola released Songs from the Source of the Nile in 2005. ARC Music will be releasing her new album later in 2021.
