American virtuoso keyboard player, flamenco jazz trailblazer, and composer Chick Corea passed away on February 9th, 2021 from an uncommon form of cancer that was only discovered very recently.
Although he was best known for his jazz and jazz-rock fusion works, Corea was also a lover of world music. He collaborated and recorded with flamenco musicians, Latin Jazz artists and American banjoist Bela Fleck.
