The programming schedule for the Folk Unlocked Virtual Conference 2021 is now available. The conference will use the Pathable platform, a tool that will allow registered participants build their agenda.
The keynote speakers this year are Dr. Bettina Love and Margaret Atwood.
The Folk Unlocked Virtual Conference will bring a huge variety of artists from around the world.
Panel sessions include like “Audio Production In-Person and Remote“, “Dream Bigger: Making Large-scale Creative Works with Music and a Mission“, “Anti-Racism: Setting a New Tone in Folk Culture“, and “Music in Film, TV & Ads: Pandemic Production Cycles.”
The conference will also include Affinity Groups, community-oriented sessions designed to encourage and foster connections between participants within the Folk alliance international community who share a common identity or experience. This year, there are eleven different groups serving communities like Los hispanohablantes, Folks with Disabilities, BIPOC, Folks 55+, LGBTQ2IA+, and more.
