Círculo Flamenco de Madrid Reveals Programming for January to March 2021

Music association Círculo Flamenco de Madrid has announced the programming for January through March 2021.

The first show will take place on Tuesday, January 26th at 20:00 (8:00 pm). It is the highly anticipated concert Israel Fernández and Diego del Morao at Teatro Flamenco Madrid. Israel Fernández and Diego del Morao are two of the leading flamenco artists in the current flamenco. They have a new album titled Amor, released a few months ago by Universal Music Spain.

January will close on Thursday, January 28th at Fundación Casa Patas at 20:00 with the presentation of the book “Yo bailo” (I Dance), by the magnificent bailaora (dancer) from Cádiz, María Moreno.

In February two concerts are scheduled. On February 4th, Círculo Flamenco de Madrid will present singer Miguel Lavi from Jerez, accompanied by Manuel Parrilla’s masterful guitar. Venue: Teatro Flamenco Madrid at 21:30.

On February 18th, flamenco fans will have a opportunity to experience the fiery cantaora (singer) La Tana, from Seville, accompanied by guitarist El Perla. Venue: Teatro Flamenco Madrid at 21:30.

The last event that month will be on February 25th. Faustino Núñez will present his Chronology of the history of flamenco. Location: Fundación Casa Patas at 21:00.

March begins with a concert by La Kaíta, a unique cantaora accompanied by the guitars of Miguel and Juan Vargas. Venue: Teatro Flamenco Madrid at 21:30.

On March 18th, the guitar will take center stage with the presence of famed musician Pepe Habichuela, in one of the most anticipated concerts of the season. He will be accompanied by singer Kiki Morente. Venue: Teatro Flamenco Madrid at 21:30.

The final event, on March 25th, will be a presentation of the recent book by Alicia González titled “Paseando por la Granada flamenca” (Walking through Granada’s flamenco area). Location: Fundación Casa Patas at 21:00.

The Círculo Flamenco de Madrid has stated that it has been applying safety measures to guarantee the safety of its concerts due to the coronavirus. On the other hand, the complexity of the strategy to fight the pandemic may force the presenter to modify schedules or even days on the fly.
