A new book titled ‘Miss Pat: My Reggae Music Journey’ will be available on March 17, 2021. The book tells the important history of Patricia Chin, the 84-year-old co-founder of reggae music powerhouse VP Records. Chin’s 60-year journey in music has taken her from Kingston, Jamaica to Jamaica, Queens, and far beyond.

Miss Pat: My Reggae Music Journey’s topics include Caribbean music, specifically reggae, soca and calypso; immigrant success stories; entrepreneurship; and women’s empowerment.
The 212-page hardcover book includes 220 photos and illustrations. An audio companion package will be released on VP Records in summer of 2021.

A percentage of the proceeds from all book sales will go towards the new Vincent & Pat Chin Foundation.
