Lakha Khan, one of the greatest players of the Indian sarangi (bowed instrument) has released a live album recorded in Copenhagen. Live at Global (Amarrass Records) features tracks recorded at Global Copenhagen (a nonprofit concert venue currently known as ALICE) in March 2016.
Lakha Khan is accompanied by his son Dane Khan on the dholak. The album includes Kabir bhajans; Sufi kalaams by Bulleh Shah and Ghulam Farid; and traditional folk instrumentals.
