Folk Alliance International has announced the dates of its upcoming virtual conference, Folk Unlocked. The event will take place February 22-25, 2021. Folk Unlocked will be a four-day virtual event for the all-inclusive international folk music community to attend panels, workshops, showcases, affinity and peer group meetings, exhibit spaces, as well as networking, and mentorship.
The organization wants the annual conference to be as broad and inclusive as possible, inviting those who have been loyally attending Folk Alliance International conferences for years while intending to reach folk musicians and professionals who have never attended the annual gathering and showcase event before.
In 2021, Folk Unlocked will host a space for community building and career development for everyone from the comfort and safety of their own home.
In order for Folk Unlocked to be an event accessible to all, Folk Alliance International has built a pay-what-you’re-able pricing arrangement. All registration prices provide the same level of access. Registration is valued at $150, and organizers have created three other registration tiers: $75, $25, and $0.
