Djely Tapa, one of the leading artists in the Malian Afro-Futurist music scene, is set to release internationally her debut album titled “Barokan” on October 23, 2020. Djely Tapa is the daughter of acclaimed griot singer Kandia Kouyaté.
Djely Tapa’s “Barokan” is an Afro-feminist recording that propels the traditions of Mali into a cosmic and electronic dimension.
