Veteran bluegrass band Special Consensus is celebrating its 45th anniversary with Chicago Barn Dance (Compass Records). The new project is a love note of sorts to Chicago, hometown of the band’s founder and banjo player, Greg Cahill.
Guests include Becky Buller, Alison Brown, Michael Cleveland, Robbie Fulks, and Rob Ickes.
