The Harrycane Orchestra from the Bavarian city of Augsburg has a new album titled Dark Makam (Galileo Music). The Harrycane Orchestra was formed by drummer and composer Harry Alt and Turkish singer Tarkan Yesil.
The ensemble combines jazz, Turkish rhythms and Arabic melodies. “Dark Makam” is about tolerance, freedom and diversity.
