Afion has a new album titled Treći bilbil (Spona / Aquarius Records). It is a tribute to all the vocalists who sing in a “wrong dialect” or perform songs from the “wrong side of the border”. The album features nine songs primarily from the Pannonian area of Croatia (Medjimurje & Slavonia) and North Macedonia.
Afion was formed in Zagreb, Croatia in 2003 with musicians from Croatia and North Macedonia. Although the group disbanded in 2012, they reunited in 2018. Even though the musicians currently live in three different countries (Croatia, North Macedonia and Sweden), they got together to record Treći bilbil.
