Bongo Joe Records has announced the release of Vodou Alé, a collaboration between Haitian band Chouk Bwa and Belgian act The Ångströmers. The album is set for release May 22, 2020.
In September 2016, Haitian vodoo band Chouk Bwa met Brussels-based duo The Ångströmers. The result of their interaction is a mix of dub and Haitian rhythms.
Chouk Bwa released an earlier album titled Se nou ki la! (2015) on Buda Musique.
