The music of the Dominican Republic will be the primary focus of La Mar de Músicas world music festival. The festival will take place July 17 – 25 in Cartagena, southeastern Spain. In addition to music, La Mar de Músicas will also present the art, cinema and literature of the Caribbean nation.
The programming of the 2020 edition will be announced in the coming weeks. The structure of the festival will continue as in previous editions, combining paid and free performances at several venues throughout the city: Parque Torres Auditorium and the courtyard of the School of Business Sciences at the Cartagena Polytechnic University.
