Global Fusion Artist Eljuri to Perform at Mundial Montreal 2015 This Week

 

Ecuadorian guitarist and vocalist Cecilia Villar Eljuri, better known as Eljuri, is set to perform this week at the influential Mundial Montréal world music showcase on Thursday November 19, 2015, 9:50 p.m. at the Divan Orange, 4234 Boul Saint-Laurent, Montreal (Quebec, Canada).

Eljuri’s global fusion rock reflects her Spanish and Lebanese heritage, the rhythms of her homeland, Ecuador, and the rock music from the melting pot of her youth in New York City.

“Fuerte’ is the title of Eljuri’s new album. The skilled electric guitarist considers herself a music activist and endeavors to affect positive change through her music. Eljuri is constantly inspired by the work of Jimi Hendrix, Bonnie Raitt, Carlos Santana and Bob Marley.
