Mamak Khadem has released a music video titled “Those Eyes” made with Dzambo Agusev Orkestar Macedonian Brass Band. Mamak recorded and directed the video in Strumica, Macedonia.

Dzambo Agusev Orkestar Macedonian Brass Band includes a group of men that are all related, all under 25. They are from the Turkish speaking village of Strumica in Macedonia. Jumbo is the lead trumpet player, a guy with spikey hair and skin tight clothes.

Between the whole lot of them, 11 to be exact, they only had one little van for transport,” says Mamak Khadem. “So, for a 2:00 pm rehearsal we would start at 10:00 in the morning to pick everyone up, making stops in between to stock up for food and snacks, with yours truly, the featured artist, in the back of the van squeezed in between the extended family of chattering, munching men as they piled in one by one…These rhythms are magic!

“Those Eyes” appears in Mamak Khadem’s new album titled The Road (Innova, 2015)
