Real World Records has announced the October 2015 release of Youssou N’Dour’s album titled Fatteliku. This recording showcases Youssou N’Dour et Le Super Etoile de Dakar at a groundbreaking moment in their career as they toured the world as the main support act on Peter Gabriel’s So Tour.
Recorded in Athens, Greece in October 1987, the concert was available previously only as part of Peter Gabriel’s Live in Athens DVD/Blu-ray release and never previously available on CD or Download.
Fatteliku includes a full set performed by Youssou and his band, including tracks such as Immigres and Sama Dom / My Daughter as well as a version of the Peter Gabriel classic In Your Eyes, with Youssou joining the Gabriel for an encore.
