The Pirineos Sur 2015 world music festival starts today, July 17 at 18:00 in the City Council Hall of Sallent de Gallego in Huesca (southern Pyrenees in Spain) with the conference “10 years of human rights abuses in the south / Melilla border “by Sergi Cámara. Later today, Gren Sémé will perform at the Sallent de Gallego stage, next to the world’s markets. The festival is organized by the Provincial Council of Huesca.
The Lanuza Auditorium nearby will open its doors this evening with musical performances by Ara Malikian and Noa & Mira Awad. Under the theme ‘Borders? Mixture or barrier’ the international festival will run from today through August 2 with a selection of concerts, films, world markets and daytime activities for all ages.
