Haitian supergroup Boukman Eksperyans is set to perform at Roulette in Brooklyn on Saturday, May 16, 2015.
Boukman Eksperyans has been sharing its music with the world since 1987 via the musical movement, Mizik Rasin (Roots Music). Dedicated to sharing Haiti’s history and struggles through song and dance, they combine social messages about political freedom, nationalism, and current events into their captivating signature blend of voodoo rhythms with rock, rara, blues, reggae, soukous and funk.
