Argentine vocalist Juan Iñaki hails from Córdoba in Argentina. He has performed at the leading folk festivals in Argentina and significant venues throughout South America and Europe.
Juan Iñaki studied music composition at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) and joined the Chamber Choir of the province. He was also involved in the project Caixa da Música, with whom he released an album.
He has performed with artists such as Lila Downs, Suna Rocha, Uxía, Juan Falu, Raul Carnota, Luna Monti and Juan Quintero, Jorge Fandermole and Mariana Carrizo among other well-known musicians.
Juan Iñaki’s discography includes “Qué hermoso sueño” (indie release, 2000), “Yo soy Juan” (EMI , 2003) and “De la raíz a la copa” (indie release, 2008). His most recent album is “Orgánico” (2013). “It is not a work with much Argentine folklore. There is stuff from Peru, Cuba, jazz, funk, and even rap,” says Iñaki about the recording.
