Norwegian fiddle maestro Gjermund Larsen’s album Trønderbarok won the Traditional Folk Music category of the 2014 Spellemannpris. The award ceremony took place last week at Stavanger Concert Hallin in Stavanger in southwestern Norway. The significant Spellemannpris is the Norwegian equivalent to the Grammy.
Nico & Vinz won the night’s most coveted prize: the Spellemann of the Year award.
