28th Annual Old Settler’s Music Festival Adds Top Names to Lineup

American roots music gathering Old Settler’s Music Festival has announced the top names that will perform in 2015. The festival takes place Thursday-Sunday, April 16-19, 2015 at Salt Lick BBQ Pavilion and Camp Ben McCulloch, FM 1826 south of Austin.

Bluegrass artist Robert Earl Keen, guitar master Bill Kirchen and “snake farmer” Ray Wylie Hubbard are the latest names added to the talent roster for the 28th annual Old Settler’s Music Festival. Also joining the lineup are Knoxville, Tennesse, roots rockers the Black Lillies, renowned Cajun band the Lost Bayou Ramblers, and Austin soul band Roxy Roca.

This year’s artists also include Latin-influenced Americana stars the Mavericks, mandolin master Sam Bush, ukulele phenomenon Jake Shimabukuro, singer-songwriter Israel Nash and Austin’s own Shinyribs. Country royals Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis, notable bluegrass bands Hot Rize and the Infamous Stringdusters and gospel queens the McCrary Sisters are also among the acts filling four stages, including one for campers only.

Old Settler’s Music Festival offers bluegrass, folk and Americana acts performing on four stages over four days, along with camping in the beautiful Texas hill country.
