Afro-Spanish Star Buika to Perform at Oslo World Music Festival

Spanish singer Buika will deliver her alluring mix of flamenco, jazz, soul, and Cuban and music at Oslo’s World Music Festival on October 29, 2014 at 21:00 (9:00 pm). The concert takes place at Rockefeller Music Hall.

Buika sings in Spanish, english and various other languages. She was worked with Cuban maestro Chucho Valdés, celebrated jazz keyboardist Chick Corea and pop star Nelly Furtado.

Buika’s most recent recording is “La Noche Mas Larga” (Warner Music Spain, 2013), an album that features Madrid-based Cuban keyboardist Iván “Melón” Lewis and Spanish percussionist Ramón Porrina.
